Hello guys!
Yesterday was Arts Night.
Went to school from 9am in the morning all the way till 9.30pm at night.
Cool huh?
Supposed to come at 10am.
But Ms Lam wanted me and Jewqi to practice the emcee thing.
Reached at 9am sharp.Saw Jewqi diligently sitting at the tables at the back of the hall diligently reading newspapers.
Went to find Ms Lam,but she wasnt at her table.
When she finally came,we went to the library to practice.She let us off for CCA rehearsals at about 10.40.
Went to Drama Club Room, they were rehearsing the thing like a comedy.Everybody was having lots of fun.I laughed like shit along with them.
We finally got serious when Suba asked for a real rehearsal.[Drama Pres!:D]
Practiced until Ms Rina came.JinYi flew dunno where,I was certain that JinYi was in school,[ok,at least for the 9am range?]Jewqi and I met him at the tables behind the hall.
JiaMin and I flew around school to find him,but to no avail.Made lots of people contact him,i think he was so frustrated he switched off his phone.We even contacted his mother,who claims to find her son at home,and never contacted us back.
I went to Band's Room to find YingDa,to get him to pass me the emcee script.He "rocks" la. Ask me to change the script yesterday morning.Added in a big chunk.Jewqi is like..stumped.Cant blame him.Yesterday night was Arts Night.Anyone in such situations would be stumped.
Went back to Drama Room to edit script.The seniors were dealing with the costumes,so we had some time to rest,I suppose.Went out of the noisy room to rehearse the emcee script with Jewqi.
We had a few more rehearsals of Emily of Emerald Hill, then we went for our lunch.Asked Jewqi to chiong back by 1.30pm,gave him like 10 to 15 mins to eat lunch only.[HEHE.Sorry lurhs.]I ate pretty fast and even went out with Faith to get some sweets and chocolates.
Chiong-ed back to school.When I was going up to Drama Club Room,I guess I was very kanchiong.Met Gianna[meimei!:D] but just rushed up.Explained to her the kanchiong-ness in sms.[She ignored me!:(]Hahaha!nvm.Finally saw Jewqi.He was in the room all along![The back door was open!& I DIDNT KNOW.yay me.] Went in to prac until Suba came in and asked us to change into costume.Changed and went over to CDans by the back gate.Had rehearsals.Put on makeup.Mine was shit.With lots and lots of hairspray[I washed my hair 2 times to get it off.Still have the smell of it in my hair right now.] AND pins[Ask Ameline.I had a whole bunch of hairpins in my hair.At least more than 10!],thanks to Ms Rina.I screwed up the last rehearsal before the performance for the other CCA Groups.Late entry to the scene.Got everyone laughing like... Whateva.BUT...thinking on the positive side,it was beneficial to the other 2 performances that followed which helped me to get into character.
Dunno why Emotional Trigger didnt work well on me this few days.Oh yes.And I screwed up the whole emcee thing.Maybe even for the performance too.SORRY.
It was so funny.Everyone could see the significant change after the whole CDans performance.From emo to enthu.High.Siao.Crazy.HAHAHAHAHA.ok.Mad too.
Quickly changed out of that itchy costume and into my comfortable new purple esprit tee[given by aunt as adv birthday present(:]and lovely jeans:D Chionged with Belle and Jewqi over to the hall.Mr Liu came to speak to Jewqi and me when we reached the hall.[My hair was still full of hairspray.It even hardened after sometime,even though I took off all the pins.It is so stiff!]
The performance started.We went on stage.I saw someone like staring.I was like..okay.The second time,saw a glimpse of someone familiar.Didnt have time to recognise.Third time,finally saw some small little head pop! out of nowhere.The description is somewhat like:A tall building and a...[SRY!!NO OFFENCE!JUST A JOKE!]small kampong.Stone tio.Missed my line.Kept apologising to Jewqi when I went backstage.He ignored me.He was more concerned about his performance on stage than anything else.I understand.Nvm.Was DAMN enthu backstage.Can't help it lars.Too emo when I was at CDans,getting into character.Shuting saw me when it was about her turn to perform.Twisted my arm as usual.And giggled.She performed beautifully on stage.With all those makeup and everything.She kept denying the fact when we were on the phone at home.
Thanks for the compliments,those who complimented.You too.Make me stone down there.[Nah,just kidding.]Still thought that I "rocked" on stage.Haiz.
